As this is my first of many blog posts, I wanted to introduce myself to anyone who is new or anyone who just wants to learn a bit more about me.

Hi, my name is Jessica Kulla and I help buyers and sellers in the South Peace region with all their real estate needs.  I have a passion for all thing’s real estate and love what I do but that is just the career side of who I am.

I grew up in Burnaby, BC where I went to Burnaby North High School and went on to get my Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate at the Capilano University.  While going to school I started working at Cactus Club Café, where I stayed and worked for over 5 years as Bar Manager, Shift Leader and more. I learned so many skills including customer service, multiple tasking and how to interact with the public. After finishing my schooling, I worked for 3 major law firms in the Vancouver area where I honed my organization skills and learned a lot about the legal field.  This led me to begin my adventure into real estate, I begin and started my Real Estate Licensing course.

2014 my boyfriend and I decided it was time to make a big move, to Dawson Creek.  Nervous and excited for what the future might hold we took the leap and bought a house in Dawson Creek.  I remember the questions and faith we put in our realtor as we were unsure of where and what we were really agreeing to.  For the first year I worked as a Property Manager, and eventually got my full Real Estate Sales and Property Management Licenses.

In 2015 I made the switch from Property Management to Real Estate Sales and joined the office of RE/MAX Dawson Creek Realty.  I’ve worked hard since day one to learn, grow and become a part of the community in Dawson Creek.  In 2017 my now husband and I welcomed our son Lynden, who has been a trooper since the beginning.  I packed him to showings, day trips to the office and late-night emails while rocking him to sleep (the hustle never stops).

I have grown and learned so much over the 5+ years I have been in the Peace Region.  Honestly, I wouldn’t change a thing, this community has welcomed me and taught me so much.  With my whole heart I call this place home (my forever home) and I can’t wait to raise my family here.

I have also met and been a part of so many others lives who have experienced something similar to me.  They weren’t sure where they were moving but they knew it was happening and put their trust in a realtor to help them find the perfect place to start their new journey.  I too know what that feels like and take pride and care in helping my clients find the house that is going to start their next chapter.

I hope you learned a bit about me and why I try to put passion and care into every client meeting, call or email.  Leave a comment below and tell me something about yourself or your journey to where you are today.
